It's finally festival time! A whole weekend of slumming it with a group of friends with an endless supply of alcohol and nothing to worry about other than which stage you want to rave at next. All the wild partying and late nights might be fabulous for our moods but they're killer on our feet. The sloppy mud and vast fields means our feet will not be feeling very happy. The reason for camping outdoors, I imagine, is because if everyone stayed in a room together no one would make it till the morning due to the toxic foot smell. Not nice. To save your precious feet from bulging blisters and nasty sores - invest in a pair of wellies.

The the demure dressers can opt for a chic black geometric patterned pair from Topshop. The subtle design gives the wellies a funky festival feel without being too outrageous - perfect if you don't want to draw too much attention to your un-showered self! The girlie princess can pick up some pretty ankle boot style wellies from USC. The patient shoe has a large nude bow on the front which adds instant Barbie appeal. For the ravers - River Island do a luminous yellow pair of the waterproof boots. They're covered in bird silhouettes which are reminiscent of Kate Moss' Topshop collection circa '10.

Don't let the thoughts of old farmers trudging through muck put you off - even this player is getting in on the action!

Fresh Faced Summer Make Up

Hello Cookies,
Urban Decay Pocket Rocket

Urban Decay - "FreeLove" Eyeshadow

YSL Touche Eclat - "1 Luminous Radiance"

Eylure 020 Naturalites

The finished look :)

Urban Decays pocket rocket lip gloss caught my eye and I'm sure you can guess why. Not only is the colour a shimmering shade of pink, it has a hologram of a half dressed male on the lid. Fabulous. If you move the lip gloss slightly, the toned model is suddenly back in his clothes so no old ladies need to be shocked when your re-applying your lip gloss on the bus home. The colour suited my pale skin and had exceptional lasting power. Normally lip gloss lasts a maximum of an hour - and that's if you stay away from all forms of food, drink and kisses! No fun at all. This lip gloss however, lasted me a couple hours; a brilliant choice for after work pub crawls.

I teamed the gloss with some coral eye shadow by the same brand. The shade worked well with my copper orange hair and really allowed my completion to glow. The eye shadow had shimmering particles which laced my eye lids in a summery fashion. This colour would look lovely at a summer festival and works well as a day and night look.

YSL touche Eclet is tremendus for brightening eyes. It's more expensive than most brands you'll find in your local Boots but it gives eyes a wonderfully dewy look as well as covering minor flaws. If you lace it on the bridge of your nose it makes it appear slimmer as well as giving your face a subtle shimmer. This is defiantly an investment piece.

To enhance my eyes further, I used fake eye lashes. I have very short eye lashes naturally so I tend to wear false eye lashes every day and (as far as I'm aware) no one seems to have noticed. Eylure is my favourite brand for eye lash products - the glue is brilliant for sensitive eyes and is very long latest. It is a rare occasion when I have to reapply glue to my lashes. The length and thickness is natural; it allows eyelids to flutter without being weighed down by chinchilla lids! Add a layer of mascara to ensure they look natural and if you feel they don't look convincingly real, lace then with a slick of liquid eye liner to ensure no traces of fakery can be spotted.

Stud And Deliver

Hello Lovelies,

The festival season has already began and the only way to show true appreciation to a summer of fields filled with rock gods, is to layer on lashings of studs. Don't be afraid to lavish this trend; bring in as many different accessories as you wish. If 'glamping' is more your style, Christian Louboutin has a gorgeous pair of red soled beauties that have killer impact. If your budget doesn't quite rival a rock star, missguided.com also have a stunning pair of heels for a fraction of the price.

There is a studded creation for everyone, from a princess pink headband with pointed studs to create an edge or full on shoulder blades as featured on the Topshop denim jacket bellow. The truly brave can channel Kanye West and sport a pair of studded sunglasses. If this style is not your thing, you can simply wrap your phone up in a demur studded case. Phones need outfits too y'know? ;)

Blazin' Squad

Hello mini - milks!

It's time to ditch the parka jackets and replace your fur coats because there's a new cover up in town. Summer time is upon us and with the British nip in the air, a blazer is the perfect breeze barrier. The brighter the colour the better appear to be the rules in celeb-town. A vivid yellow blazer will keep you dazzling through out the summer and a electric - blue shade will keep you snug all the way through to the autumn months. Bargain! Tropical fashionista's can team it with bold, flower printed play-suits. Other chic ladies can team the bright jacket with a pair of clashing, coloured skinny jeans to create some beautiful block colouring; just remember to keep the bouffant hair to a minimum with such a bold look - we don't want any more Cheryl Cole disasters.

The more conservative dresser can team their blazer with some black jeans and minimal silver jewellery or if you're a colour coordinator you can bring some matching short shorts into the equation and rock the matching combo trend. The blazer not only looks incredibly stylish - it also covers our untanned arms - that perhaps haven't visited the gym in a while. What's not to love?

Two - Toned Tresses: Hippy Dippy - Dye

Hello Baby dolls!

Dip dyed locks have brightened our moods though the winter months and the trend is not disappearing yet! The funky hair colouring looks spectacular and is a sure fire way to make any bland outfit pop. Classic girls can chose a more demur tint of  sun kissed blonde where as the fiery ladies amongst you can brave a raunchy shade of  red or green. Pastel hues looks exceptional in platinum blonde hair and rocks both of this seasons styles in one.

Pretty In Peplum

Hello Sugar Cookies!

Marc by Marc Jacobs, Cynthia Rowley, Giambattista Valli & Giorgio Armani Spring 2012

The peplum certainly packs a punch. The frilled detail adds classic, lady-like glamour to any outfit. The flattering shape creates an instant hourglass silhouette. This design looks stunning with skinny fitted trousers or you can take inspiration from Dior circa’ 1947 and pair it with a slinky pencil skirt.

The peplum is the new minimal so ensure it’s sleek and sculptured and you’re onto a winner.

Team your outfit with some pastel wedges for some day time girlie glamour or killer-black heels to show the world how much of a vintage vixen you are.
