Sumptuous Wristwear

For an outfit that really dazzles - you need accessories. Whether your layering on lashings of midi rings or draping your midriff in Rhianna inspired body chains - these are the pieces that make your look stand out from the crowd. After all, imagine Glastonbury without a hair hiding trilby, a gig without metallic jewels cascading up your arms or god forbid - slipping into your trusty LBD and not having a statement neck piece on.

Glamorous wrist wear is having a moment this S/S. Whether your flicking though a magazine, catching up on Made in Chelsea or simply grabbing lunch with the girls - your bound to spot some jewels wrapped around someones wrists. Thomas Sabo and Pandora bracelets are everywhere - but if dainty charms aren't your thing  invest in a oversized Watch. This rose gold Marc Jacobs beauty adds the perfect amount of grown up glamour to any outfit. To add a girlie edge, check out Monica Vinader's friendship bracelets. The jeweler has a wide range of adorable string designs with engraved gold or silver panels. These are the perfect way to rock the 90s trend and bring back memories of weaving friendship jewelry from scoobies and our mums sewing box.

We've all been there. Selfie snapped, heels are on and you're primed to party perfection. It's Saturday night and the club is filled with glamorous girls laced in vivacious velvets, powdery pastels and crisp white ensembles. As you make your way to the bar, you saunter through a mask of expensive perfume and the unmistakable scent of L'Oreal Elnett. That's where you spot her; with her brunet hair coiffed into a chic chignon surrounded by beauties armoured in Topshop, Miss Selfridge and Lavish Alice.

She's wearing the same outfit as you.

The lime green Boohoo two piece you ordered especially for tonight. It's a fashion face off. Your efforts have been thwarted and your cheeks are turning a deeper shade of crimson by the second.

What do you do? There are these options:

One -Run. Run as fast as your 6 inch stilettos will let you and dive into a dark corner not resurfacing until closing time.

Two - You could order a large glass of wine and hope that your embarrassment will dissolve with the help of more alcohol.

Or three - Deal with it head on. Work that lipstick, pucker a smile in her direction and vow to never find yourself in this situation again.

With every high street packed out with the same shops, it's inevitable that we're going to bump into someone else wearing the same outfit as us. A chorus line of New Looks, Forever 21s and Zaras are cascaded all over the country. For a truly unique look, head to online boutique SheInside.com.

White Out

There's been a white out on the red carpet lately, from  ivory suits to creamy court shoes - white is the hue of the moment. The bleached out trend is the perfect way to stand out from the crowd with minimal effort.

For a refreshing spin on the look, find a quilted two piece. Textured fabric and simplistic outfits have been favoured by Chanel, Lagerfeld & Co. for years. The classic tailoring never dates and makes for a chic outfit no matter the occasion.

Head to Missguided and invest in a Bridget Bardot inspired crop top. Make the style icon your muse and rock one of her infamous off the shoulder tops. Dare to bare your collar bones and streamline your arms with the stretchy fabric. To take the trend one step further, transform your outfit into an adorable suit with a matching skirt. If you're scared of heading out top to toe in crisp shades of white - break up the look with hints of black. Monochrome is still a huge trend and black detailing is the easiest way to slim down areas we wish weren't so curvaceous.

An all white ensemble adds the perfect amount of decadence to any evening outfit and a perfect hint of power to any board room meeting.

Mod Behaviour

Leggings are a wardrobe staple. They're every girl's best friend for good reason - their stretchy nature means they'll glide past your thighs with ease (even after a lunch time carb fest!) and their soft material means they're perfect for lounging round the house on a lazy Sunday. Channel your inner mod and sport a houndstooth pair this season. These high waisted beauties hide a multitude of sins - they have the sucking in power of spanx, while the busy design accentuates the derriere giving you a booty to rival Kim K & Co.

They're the perfect transition piece to take you through Spring without your knees chattering in a leg baring mini. The eye catching print works best when paired with a simple black top. Head to Bank and invest in a Bridget Bardot inspired crop top. If you're feeling a bit too pasty to bare your midriff, team the 60's leggings with a plain white tee and let your legs do all the talking.

Spring Greens

The pastel parade has been in town all winter and it seems to be staying for S/S too but that doesn't mean we can't indulge in a little bit of neon now and again. Pale pinks and subtle lavenders have been splashed on our outfits for months and they have even found their way into our make up bags - but now the sun is beginning to shine and the evenings are getting lighter - it's time to inject some of that brightness into our wardrobes. Take a trip to your local Topshop and pick up this grass green garment. The strappy dress is perfect for lazy Sundays in the park and looks equally as gorgeous on a night out sipping a Pinot or two. Make your outfit a real talking point and accessorize this jade beauty with a kitsch necklace. This adorable bird chain is from Topshop and really accentuates the look. Inject an extra pinch of personality and add some shades to your dishevelled hair. Now you can infuse some sunshine into your look - even if it's not actually shining...

Neon for Spring

If the pastel trend isn't quite scratching your colour itch - head to Miss Selfridge and invest in this neon floral number. The subtle grey background makes a refreshing background choice as black and white can become boring. An array of bright pinks, purples and oranges are sprinkled all over this dress and it is all tied together with a neon yellow belt. Add a matching yellow bag to really make the colour really pop. Gun metal coloured jewellery works best with grey - but try not to over do it. Add a couple of rings or a simple bracelet to keep the outfit interesting but let the dress do most of the talking. Lovers of all things bright and beautiful can rejoice - the neon trend is back and it's bigger than ever.

Fuchsia Fusion

Nothing says feminine quite like a pink dress; decorate said dress with matching pink jewels and a flowered pattern and you've got yourself a look so girlie you could join The Saturdays. Don't be scared to rock a ladylike ensemble - pretty pinks and pastel palettes have been spotted all over the S/S and A/W14 catwalks so it's a trend that's here to stay. If baby pink is a little too soft for your style and causes too many 90's Baby Spice flashbacks - inject some fuchsia into your wardrobe. This Miss Selfridge dress is the perfect way to wear the trend if the the thought of walking around head to toe in pink brings you out in a sweat. The darker shade means you can look womanly but will still be taken seriously at work or in the class room. The grey background means you can give it a rock chick vibe with some black opaques and killer ankle boots in the colder months, and in the summer you can update the look with bare legs and a pair of over sized sunglasses.

Leather Sparkles

We've all been there. You've been invited on a night out and you can't decide on what to wear. Do you wrap up in a body con dress, lace yourself in leather or shimmer in sequins? Why not go for all three? Leather is the perfect choice for winter, not only does it give off a sexy rock chick vibe - it also keeps you warm on these chilly winter nights. Leather can be a a tricky material to wear - it can make petite frames look bulky and cling to our awkward lumps and bumps. Bin your loose fitting leather and replace it with a skin tight dress; it will keep its shape all night and hold you in without a pair of Spanx in sight. To keep the dress from looking too gothic -  go for an embellished number. Gun metal silver jewels go with leather the best - add a little silver clutch and plain black shoes to finish off the look. For added glamour - pop a pair of sunglasses on and perfect your pout - this is a look that's going to grab attention.

Punk Princess

Tick off two trends and invest in a tartan pencil skirt. The figure skimming skirt shows off your feminine curves without having to freeze your little legs off in a mini. The 90s are still a huge influence this season and featured heavily at LWF. An array of models and street stylers were spotted reviving the era by wandering around Somerset House in tartan, studs and leather. Punk icons such as the Sex Pistols, Debbie Harry and Courtney Love appear to have inspired the latest collections hitting the catwalks. Team your tartan with with a simple black vest. Embellish your outfit in as many gold chains and studs you can find. Don't be scared to pile on the bling; more is definitely more. To finish off the look, rough up your hair and slick on a pair of over sized shades. Not only will they give you a cool rock star vibe - they do a pretty good job of a late night or two...

Monochrome Mistress

Dressing between seasons can be tricky. The sun is beginning to peep out from behind the clouds but that chill in the air means it's still too cold for bare legs and mini shirts. Ditch the denim and dig out your old maxi skirt. The floor skimming garment had a massive fashion moment a couple seasons ago but has since slipped under the radar. The longer length skirt is perfect for keeping your legs warm without having to encase yourself in tight fitting jeans and leggings. The figure skimming design is much more flattering than a pencil skirt (especially after that lunchtime trip to Pizza Express) and the floaty finish gives the skirt a feminine feel; perfect for date night.

If you're feeling brave - team yours with a long sleeved crop top. The splash of skin will keep the look youthful - and provides the perfect excuse to show off that toned midriff of yours! If you've been skipping the gym - pop on a cute cropped jumper that meets the waist band of your skirt. This will elongate your legs without the need to flash the flesh. Lavish your neck in helpings of gold chains and grab a boxy clutch to finish off the look.

Golden Girl

Rummage through your old trinket box and pull out as much gold you can find. Layer Egyptian inspired earrings with the biggest Del Boy watch you can get your manicured finger tips on. Wrap yourself in sequins and jewels and sparkle like the bronzed glamazon you are. Crop tops are still huge this season; team yours with some tracksuit inspired trousers. Comfy and hitting the sport lux trend on the head: bonus. If you're a pale beauty, be brave and ditch the fake tan. Make a real statement and let your porcelain skin sparkle; the bronze embellishment will stand out beautifully against the snow white back drop. Be warned though - a tanned midriff will always look slimmer. Looks like we might be reaching for the St Tropez bottle after all...

Elizabeth Arden: Visible Difference Refining Moisture Cream Complex

Don't be seen with a washed out face this winter; protect your skin against the nasty bugs in the air and invest in a rich moisturiser. The cold weather can dry out our skin and leave us with a dull complexion and flaky foundation. Elizabeth Arden has been a cult skin care brand ever since the infamous 8 hour cream was released. Suddenly women (and probably some men!) didn't have to live with dehydrated skin any more - our faces were transformed into silky canvases with just one application. Elizabeth Arden has been a trusted favourite amongst millions - from Kate Middleton to the lady next door - but this time of year our skin can crave something slightly stronger. The beauty brand has provided the perfect product for the job; Visible Difference is a slightly thicker moisturiser that sinks in immediately and banishes dryness after a couple applications. Smooth it onto your face morning and night and you'll notice a difference within a few weeks - your face will be drenched in moisture and left gleaming.
