Queen of Green

The freaky February weather means we don't know whether we should be rocking knit wear or Ray-bans. With short flurry's of snow followed by bursts of sun - our wardrobes are growing increasingly confused. Have the best of both worlds, and wrap yourself in a short sleeved jumper. The free arms will keep you cool while the fury material ensures you midriff is nice and toasty. Get yours in a delicious pastel colour; the delicate shade will take you all the way though spring (and maybe the summer as we're relying on the British weather). Keep the look colourful and team yours with a bright skirt. This emerald design is a Topshop bargain at £20. The asymmetric edging provides an interesting finish and the classic wrap shape means it's a real investment. Pop on some opaques, heels and a leather jacket to top off the look and beat the winter chill.

Dazzle in Denim

B*Witched might not be doing the Big Reunion any more, but that doesn't mean we can't still take some style inspiration from their 90s wardrobes. Double denim is as hot as ever; whether your chilling out in jeans or teaming your shirt with a chic skater skirt - denim on denim is a killer combo. Shirts made out of the much loved material are a great way to keep you hot under the collar this season. The loose fit makes for a relaxed look and hides that burger belly you've been harbouring since lunch time. Team yours with a statement necklace to keep it interesting and keep the rest simple. If your not feeling nostalgic for lashings of denim; rock your shirt with some disco pants. The shiny trouser still makes a statement without the risk of looking like an extra in a Levis advert. How ever you decide to work yours - make sure you top off your look with a pair of black ankle boots.

Stud and Deliver

Monochrome has always had the magic touch when it comes to keeping stylish. The minimal colour scheme keeps you looking cool without much effort. Season after season, models are seen sauntering down the runways wearing the basic colour combo. Black is sinfully slimming and a touch of white adds that extra pizazz to any outfit. This Winter, take a nod to the nineties and sport a neck skimming vest top. Add lashings of silver studs and chains and top the look of with some old school creepers. The 90s trainer is unbelievably comfortable; the thick sole not only cushions your step - it gives your legs a sneaky lift without even a hint of a  heel. A touch of glamour can easily be incorporated to the look by draping a blazer over your shoulders (N.B. the wind may keep blowing it off so no one will judge if you decide to actually wear the jacket).

Get Layered in a Statement Jumper

Flourish in February with a statement jumper. They've been spotted everywhere, from the catwalks to celebville. Wool has always been a winter essential but on it's own it can risk looking dowdy. Catapult your favourite woolly ensemble into 2014 and rock a rhinestone design. Primark have created this rainbow inspired beauty and it can be yours for a mere £10. Not bad since our purses haven't quite recovered from Christmas. The wool is sensationally soft against your skin and the black colouring keeps the jumper looking sophisticated. Pop a white shirt underneath to keep you super cosy in the office and stylish for after work cocktails. For an extra touch, add a delicate name necklace. We've wanted one ever since Carrie made them cool in SATC and now we can rejoice as Very has answered our prayers and made this stunning silver plated piece. Now pass us a Cosmo...

LFW - Caroline Charles Spring/Summer 13

Renowned for our catwalk parades of diversity and eclectic ranges of clothing here in England's capital city - London fashion week kicked off to an amazing start. Caroline Charles is a fashion week regular and she still manages to bring vibrant new designs to the stage season after season. For spring/ summer 13, Charles had her dazzling models in a rainbow of 80s inspired colours. The collection included an array of maxi dresses, toe skimming trousers and floaty dresses. Hats were a key accessory with everything from bikinis to floor length gowns featuring a stylish head piece.

Her outfits had a sophisticated note to them; this range of clothes are for the ladylike dresser. So put away your denim hot pants and make Kate Middleton you're S/S13 style muse!

Do It Like A Dude

Flicking through the latest issue off any fashion weekly, you will see a cluster of fabulous dresses draped over stunning females. Cheyl, Tulisa and Rhianna all have a closet full of the latest edgy catwalk creations but its time for them to take of their fashion crown and hand it over to our new style crush: Labrinth.

The 23 year old London singer might be a male, but with get ups like these it would be a crime again fashion ignore his efforts. The talented star has already been recognised for his style and featured in GQs 100 best dressed list at 41. Lab is a serial colour blocker and is frequently seen rocking fashion forward bright trousers with clashing shirts. In a recent photo shoot, the singer wore a canary yellow shirt with a pair of  bold green jeans! House of Fraser have a feminine version of his shirt with capped sleeves.

Earlier this year, at Wireless festival, Lab wore a denim shirt with a leopard print  pocket and cuffs. The clashing material and pattern caught our eye - and heart! To copy his style, Rokit have produced a similar design for only £25! The long sleeves and high collar means it will be cosy in the winter as well as eye catching! Who said winter fashion had to be dark and boring?

To truly evoke Labs style and make him proud - add a bow tie to your shirt. And of course a pair of his signature thick rimmed specs!
